Microdermabrasion
What is Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion - (power peel) uses a process that directs a powerful stream of fine crystals to the skin, gently exfoliating the epidermal layer while a delicate handpiece gently vacuums away the tell-tale signs of time. The purpose of a Power Peel is to promote new skin and collagen production, which helps produce a more youthful appearance. Power Peels are very effective in treating aging and sun damaged skin, acne and acne scarring, fine wrinkle reduction, pigmentation marks/brown spots, scars and age spots, enlarged or oily pores as well as blackheads and whiteheads.
What is Diamond-Tip Microdermabrasion?
Diamond-tip microdermabrasion involves the use of a wand tip that is made of natural diamond chips which polish the skin and remove dead cells, which are then vacuumed back into a waste filter. It differs from the traditional treatments in that it does not rely on microdermabrasion crystals to perform skin exfoliation. Diamond-tip and crystal midrodermabrasion peel procedures take the same amount of time to perform and the same number of treatments are needed and cost the same. With the Diamond-tip there is no more fussing with crystals in the hairline, nose or mouth.
